Domus Materiae in collaboration with the partner romaprogetta, worked on a vacation apartment placed in RomaLoft in Rome (Italy).
As the apartment is rent by tourists, all spaces need to be optimized but comfortable. For this reason the living space has been developed with sliding doors. The first door hides the kitchen, while the second door is linked to another living room, which can become a second bedroom thanks to the sofa-bed.
In order to integrate them with all the furniture, both sliding doors have been covered on both sides with “Fitzcarraldo” wallpaper by Marco Fontana from the Art Collections.
The jungle theme of this graphic subject, together with the modern design of the furniture, gives the apartment a contemporary and elegant touch.
