Gap Interiorismo, a Spanish interior design studio, was in charge for the restyling of an apartment in the center of Castellón (Spain). The owners wanted a comfortable and functional apartment, despite its limited size. To fulfill the client’s requests, the architect Gabriele Appierto from Gap Interiorismo has rationalized the space available to its maximum, adding home automation systems to facilitate home management even remotely. The protagonists of the project are the custom-made furniture, which on one hand solve the common problems of space and, on the other, regulate the division of the various rooms.
In the design of the master bedroom, Gap Interiorismo used the same style characterizing the rest of the house: elegant, thanks to the use of refined finishes, but minimalist, to keep the rooms “light”. Gabriele Appierto decided to add the “Malmoe” wallpaper design to decorate the wall behind the headboard. Customized specifically for the project in shades of pink, this design from the Handmade collection reproduces a ruined concrete effect, adding texture to the wall without weighing down the room’s decor.
