The interior design project of the La Pinocchio restaurant in Timișoara, Romania, created by the NKN Design architecture studio, represents a contemporary and refined reinterpretation of the famous Pinocchio fairy tale. Combining modern design with the evocative historical architecture of the place, the project aims to create a welcoming environment, evoking the artisanal art of the carpenter Geppetto and the lively and curious spirit of the character Pinocchio.
The walls, enriched by the ‘Forest‘ wallpaper in the White variant by Tecnografica, evoke a magical woodland atmosphere, helping to immerse customers in the fantastic world of history. This scenography integrates harmoniously with the blue decorative plaster and rustic details such as exposed bricks, which add warmth and authenticity to the spaces. The choice of color and materials, together with the layout of the spaces, creates a balance between tradition and innovation, offering a unique and memorable experience.
